The coat of arms of Ukraine (Ukr. Coat of arms of Ukraine) is one of the three official symbols of the state, along with the flag and anthem[1]. Consists of small and large emblems. Currently, only the small coat of arms, approved on February 19, 1992, is mainly used. The central heraldic figure of both coats of arms is the "trident" (Ukrainian trident) of Prince Vladimir (see Signs of the Rurikids). In addition, the elements of the large coat of arms should also be a Cossack with a musket [uk] (the symbol of the Zaporizhian Army) and a crowned lion (the coat of arms of Galician Rus).
