Description Mat for sushi bamboo makisu (22x24 cm)
The makisu sushi mat is made of bamboo and is used for rolling and serving sushi rolls. The rug is a thin rectangular sheet of bamboo on which sheets of nori (algae), rice and stuffing are placed. Then it is helped to roll it into a roll shape, using a special twisting and pressing technique. The makisu mat can be easily cleaned after use and reused.
